Road accident information & rescue organization is a rescue organization with the aims and objectives of addressing carnage on our roads, environment and to serve as an advocacy group for safety consciousness among road users as well as to render humanitarian services in Nigeria.

As part of the Road Accident Information & Rescue Organization function. We established EMERGENCY RESCUE INFORMATION CONTROL CENTRE, (ERICC), located at Federal Ministry of Works Building, Former Toll- gate office plaza, beside police station, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ibadan.
Emergency Rescue Numbers: 0703 464 0202, 0812 574 0204.

The centre is where our operators receive and answer incoming emergency telephone calls from members of the public in need of assistance and immediately dispatch information received to the relevant rescue agencies such as Hospitals Ambulances, FRSC, Fire Service, Nigeria Police, NSCDC, NEMA, VIO, State Ambulance Services, State Emergency Management Agency and Other rescue Service providers, for assistance for them to dispatch the relevant resources such as personnel, vehicles and equipments to where they are needed for prompt rescue assistance.

The situation of unpleasant incidents and road crashes has become source of worry and concern for some time now. Each year, thousands of newly injured and bereaved people from every corner of Nigeria added to the countless millions already suffering as a result of road crashes.

Contact Person: Okanlawon Bamgboye, National Rescue Coordinator, 07034640202.
