The governing council of the Delta State University, Abraka, has approved the sack of six lecturers in the school after they were found guilty of sexually harassing their female students.

They were relieved following the recommendations by a disciplinary committee set up to investigate the allegations leveled against them.

The affected lecturers were alleged to have solicited for sexual favors from their students in return for high marks during examinations.

The lecturers are also accused of engaging in examination malpractice, leaking of examination question papers and other sharp practices.
