This is the second time Ronaldo was won the award,
winning it for the first time in 2013-14. Lionel Messi of
Barcelona won it last year but was not a finalist this year.

the award is based mostly on champions League performance.. That's how It has always been.. In other words, best player in champions League

If it's based on UCL alone, Iniesta wouldn't have won in 2012.

A trophy is a tangible, durable reminder of a specific achievement , and serves as recognition or evidence of such, what he will lift is the "golden ball trophy" not the award. I actually know what I'm saying.

Bae be calm,we are not bad belle OK.we celebrate him also coz is good for him.No sane Leo fan will spew trash here coz we knw messi has won nd won it,no homo....cr7 can't win any award that is new to Leo fans.#basuc fact.

Even if he win next balloon d'or,we gonna still celebrate him coz is nothing new in our camp.Leo has won it 4x in a row which I doubt it if any human being can surepass or equal that record on earth.

This award of for both country and club performance, on both occasions, Ronaldo beat Griezmann. Although I still feel griezmann should have been compensated with this award. But it's not up to my feelings, CR7 was voted for and he won it by most votes. Shikena!!
