Gionee has released a new OTA(Over-The- Air) Update for S Plus Smartphone. This is just a firmware update. Users can check for the update by just going to Settings > About Phone > System Updates. The official change log of the update is as follow.

1. Updated music player
2. Updated camera
3. Updated lockscreen
4. Updated controller panel
5. The boot up animation was also changed to a beta version

Some one complain of battery draining very fast after upgrading . 2. pls can u tell me why some of the videos downloaded by ADM are not playable or sometime can only be played on S Plus but can't play on other phone when transferred.

someone said changing imei on this upgrade is unattainable.
