Your post interest me. I have heard about this sort of joint venture, but have never taken part in it before. I am curious to know, between the surveyor and the sponsor, who usually takes the larger share of the 60:40 or the 70:30 ratios you cited?
Also, you didn't mention the position of a property lawyer in a transaction such as this.
