Aliko Dangote GCON (born 10 April 1957) is a Nigerian billionaire, [2] who owns the Dangote Group, which has interests in commodities. The company operates in Nigeria and other African countries, including Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, South Africa, Togo, Tanzania, and Zambia.[3] As of January 2015, he had an estimated net worth of US$18.6 billion.[2]

Dangote is ranked by Forbes magazine as the 67th richest person in the world and the richest in Africa; [4] he peaked on the list as the 23rd richest person in the world in 2014.[5] He surpassed Saudi-Ethiopian billionaire Mohammed Hussein Al Amoudi in 2013 by over $2.6 billion to become the world’s richest person of African descent.[6]

2. Mike Adenuga – Conoil, Globacom (Oil & gas, Banking, Telecom)


Michael Adeniyi Agbolade Ishola Adenuga Jr (born 29 April 1953) is a Nigerian business tycoon, and the second richest person in Nigeria. His company Globacom is Nigeria’s second-largest telecom operator, and also has a presence in Ghana and Benin. He also owns stakes in the Equitorial Trust Bank and the oil exploration firm Conoil (formerly Consolidated Oil Company). Forbes has estimated his net worth at $3.2 billion as of September 2015[1] which makes him second wealthiest Nigerian behind Aliko Dangote, and the sixth richest person in Africa.[2]

Femi Otedola (born 1962) is a Nigerian businessman, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and chairman of Forte Oil Plc, an importer of fuel products. He is also the founder of Zenon Petroleum and Gas Ltd, and the owner of a number of other businesses across shipping, real estate and finance. He is the second Nigerian after Aliko Dangote to be included on the Forbes list of dollar-denominated billionaires. 4. Orji Uzor Kalu – Slok Group (Aviation, Shipping, publishing, manufacturing)


Orji Uzor Kalu (born April 21, 1960) is the chairman of SLOK Holding and the Daily Sun and New Telegraph newspapers in Nigeria, who served as the governor of Abia State, Nigeria from May 29, 1999, to May 29, 2007. Prior to his election, he served as the chairman of the Borno Water Board and the chairman of the Cooperative and Commerce Bank Limited. Kalu was also a member of the Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA) and the chairman of the PPA Board of Trustees. He was the party’s candidate for president in the April 2007 general election.[1]

16. Chief Molade Okoya Thomas – Chairman CFAO Nig and other six french companies(Automobiles) (Oil & gas)


Prince Molade Alexander Okoya-Thomas FCNA, MFR, OFR, KSS[2] (8 June 1935 – 1 February 2015)[5] was born in Lagos. He obtained his formal education at Princess School Lagos, Baptist Academy, Lagos, Balham & Tooting College of Commerce London and Columbia University in New York City. 22. High Chief O.B. Lulu Briggs– Moni Pulo (Oil & gas)


Revered Nigerian statesman O.B. Lulu-Briggs is the founder and chairman of Moni Pulo Limited, an oil exploration and production company. Moni Pulo was awarded its first oil block in 1992 when the Nigerian president at the time, Ibrahim Babangida, was encouraging indigenous participation in the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry. Mr Belo-Osagie is currently the chairman of Etisalat’s Nigerian arm, in which he controls a significant stake. He also has a range of other business interests in Nigeria.[2]

Mr Belo-Osagie and his wife, the lawyer Dr Myma Belo-Osagie (a founding partner of Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie), are noted philanthropists who believe strongly in the power of education. That woman folarunsho alakrija, what is she doing there?? If she can be there, then add Babangida and Obasanjo's name too.
She is a benefactor of looting and misappropriation of national resources. We should stop making her popular by recognising her in lists like this.
This list should contain hustlers and not people who accepted "oil block gifts in good faith ".
