Our dreams (or nightmares) have finally come true! Netflix has officially renewed their bizarre sci-fi summer hit Stranger Things. The first season of the bingeworthy (in one sitting) show left us with plenty of burning questions, mainly if mind-bending hero Eleven is alive and if Mike infected the entire town with a slug-like parasite.

The first season, set in the '80s, followed the thrilling adventures of four kids including a telekinetic girl who are trying to find their lost friend, Mike (who was hiding in an alternate reality called the Upside Down). Police Chief Hopper (David Harbour) and Mike's mother Joyce (Winona Ryder) join in on the rescue mission.

If not the best TV show of the year. Now one of my all time favourites alongside The Wire and Breaking Bad. Any kid who grew up in 9ja in the 80s would identify with the nostalgia. Looking forward to Season 2. Great work, Duffer Brothers.
