A young boy (name withheld), today September 2, along Sterling Bank Owerri, Imo State capital, was nabbed after he snatched a mobile phone from a passerby in the street of the city.

The thief, who got more than he bargained after series of beatings from people in the area, said he has not stolen before in his life. He said the hardship in the country forced him to try snatching the phone, promising that he will never in his entire life, steal again.
