We assess the performances of teams in the match week 34 of the Nigeria professional football league.

Rangers - A+

The league leaders were both commanding and ruthless as they dismissed Rivers United, in a game many thought was going to be produce a close outcome.

Ikorodu United - A+

Ikorodu had only managed four wins in the course of the whole season, and were expected to fall at the Dan Ayiam stadium, but they held their own and shocked everyone to record an away win, many find difficult to get in the league.

Akwa United - A

They were excellent in scoring three goals. It was another routine home win in the league.

Warri Wolves -A

They managed to do the needful and that was to pick up maximum points. Their survival against the drop will depend on how many more points they collect, especially at home.

Elkanemi Warriors - B

They had a man advantage, and utilized it fully. Two good goals to seal another home win.

Plateau United - B

Scored a solitary goal in a game were they failed to maximally capitalize on the home advantage coupled with the numerical edge.

Kano Pillars - B

Another close game was predicted, but Kano Pillars, managed to come out with a comfortable result.

Lobi Stars - A

Lobi stars impressive run continued, and dismissing the former champions, albeit less convincing former champions, is no small feat.

Rivers United -E

Made a complete mockery of their title ambition, following the humiliation at Rangers.

Heartland - F

The nazy millionaires will have to do something sooner rather than later, if they are to avoid the drop.

Enyimba - F

Another disappointing result for the defending champions. Continental qualification may eventually slip from their grasp.

MFM - D

Scored an away goal, and were unlucky with two other goals, which were ruled out for offside.

Nasarawa United - D

Were expected to at least come out from the game with a draw, but saw Warri Wolves fight against the drop too strong to resist.

3SC - D

Played with ten men but still did not capitulate embarrassingly.

Sunshine Stars - E

Simply lost it against the Kano giants.

Niger Tornadoes - E

Also had a man sent off and in the end could do little.
