There are a bunch of pros and cons , The only disadvantage i see in the online option is the availability of internet connection , but it has way more advantages like , it can be viewed anywhere ,your uncle can be anywhere and monitor activities etc ,

This thread is officially closed from today onwards as I shall not take any future contributions on the matter. My selected client gave the option of constant realtime maintenance hence giving me no need to look elsewhere.

I hope you have all of this sewn up in a well documented contract. If so can you clearly explain what the service provider meant by "constant real-time maintenance". Does that mean if you have a problem with the system at 2am on a Tuesday morning he/she will be available to fix it? Is there a signed SLA?

Have you fully evaluated the proposed system for all possible business cases not just the regular day to day cases? For example what happens if a customer checks-in for say a week, pays fully and after a night decides he wants to upgrade? Or check out?
