Hi Guys. On forums such as here and during daily business dealings I noticed there a lot of people looking for training in various aspects of CGI, 3D/2D animation etc. That’s why a lot of people are in the Graphics section.

To aid that, we’ve come with something called the ‘Mumu’s Guide To 3D Animation & Visual Effects’. For those of you who know them, it’s our take on the ‘Dummies Guide To…’ series. So ‘mumu’ here is used affectionately before anyone complains.

It’s basically a free online series aimed at absolute beginners to the industry based in Nigeria or the West African region mainly. So it's not 'Gnomon' level training. We’ll try to go through core concepts common to all software packages so it’s broader in outlook.

Awesome! Just awesome! Quite nice of you guys to volunteer to spend time creating this 3d modeling tutorial free of charge for newbies and pros alike. It's really broken down for "Mumu's" like you mentioned. I do hope you'll continue the trend.

Thank you very much. We'll try our best to continue it. The pros will find it too basic which is understandable as for now they are not the real target for the tutorials.
