Recently we reported that Cristiano Ronaldo lashed at former Spanish international Xavi over his comments on Messi being the best footballer. Well, here is the lash back. And its not from Xavi himself but from his father.

If Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent dig at Xavi taught us one thing it’s that the Real Madrid superstar, despite his many achievements in football, still has surprisingly thin skin.

The Portuguese forward was angered when Xavi told Cadena SER: “Messi will be number one until he wants.

“He’s superior to everyone and is the best in the world, unless you are Real Madrid.”

Ronaldo, in rather petulant fashion, responded by telling reporters: “The most searched for player on the Internet is me.

“Those that want to appear on front covers to promote things speak about me.

“What does it matter to me what Xavi says, he played in Qatar or I don’t know.

“He’s won everything but he’s never won a Ballon d’Or -- I have three.”
