Their updates are rolled out in batches. Everyone doesn't get d updates at the same time, most times a couple of days or weeks interval even though it's on d same playstore.

A beta tester gets those first.. some of those features might not come up as updates.

how can you compare whatsapp and snapchat? they're not meant for the same purpose. Whatsapp is primarily a meessaging app while snapchat is an app for posting pictures and videos. VERY DIFFERENT
