To view the password is saved, open the Network Connections window by right-clicking the network icon in your System Tray and select "Open Network and Sharing Center". Click the "Change adapter settings" in the left menu.

•Alternatively, you can press ⌘ Win + R, then type ncpa.cpl, and ⌅ press
Enter to open the window.

2. Right-click your wireless adapter. It can be named "Wi-Fi", or perhaps the name of the manufacturer. Select "Status" from the menu.

3.Open the Properties window of the connection. Click Wireless Properties, and then click the Security tab.

4. Show character. Check the "Show Characters" and your wireless password will be displayed. If you do not have the option to show the character, proceed to the next step.

WirelessKeyView window opens.

8. Find your password. All the name of the network you connect to a computer will be displayed in the left column. Look for the network you want to get back the key, and then look in the column "Key (Ascii)". This is the password for the wireless network.

•In Windows XP, WPA-PSK key can not be displayed in ASCII format. Instead, use the key to Hex column. These work just like regular ASCII key, but significantly longer.

STEP TWO: Mac

1. Open the Utilities folder. This folder is located in the Applications folder. You do not need to be connected to the network to retrieve password.

Find your network. Sort the list by category Keychain "Name" and double-click the network that you want to retrieve the password.

3. Show password. Check the "Show password". Enter your administrator password and wireless password is shown.

STEP THREE: Accessing router

1. Connect the computer to the router via Ethernet. To access the router, you must be connected to the network. If you forget your Wi-Fi password, the only way to connect to the network is to connect the computer to the router via Ethernet.

•If you can not connect to the router via Ethernet, you may need to reset the router to default setting then connect with Wi-Fi password from the factory.

2. Open the configuration page of the router. All router can be accessed via the browser (browser) web. You can open the configuration page by typing the address IPperute into your browser's address bar.

Here are some default addresses are generally based on the manufacturer, but you can search for the exact address in your router manual or by viewing the model online. Note that you can change the address in the router setup:

•Netgear: 192.168.0.1 or
192.168.1.1

•Linksys: 192.168.1.1

•D-Link: 192.168.0.1 or
192.168.1.1

•Belkin: 192.168.0.1 or
192.168.2.1

•Apple: 10.0.0.1 or 192.168.1.1

3. Log in to the router. After entering the correct address, you will be prompted to enter a user name and password. Usually the default user name is admin, and the default password is usually admin, password or empty. However, most people change it after configuring the router, so if you can not remember your user name and password, you may have to reset the router.

•If you do not change the user name and password default, you can get it on the router's manual or on the router itself.

4. Navigate to the "Wireless". Once you get into the router, look for the "Wireless" or "Wi-Fi". This can usually be accessed by clicking the tabs at the top of the page or look in the navigation menu.

5. Search password. On the page "Wireless", you will see the wireless network name (SSID) and the type of security or encryption. This may include WEP, WPA, WPA2 or WPA / WPA2. Near security options, you'll see the "passphrase" or "Password". This is your wireless password.

STEP FOUR:Resetting router

1. Find the reset button (reset) on your router. If you do not remember the login information for your router, you can reset to factory defaults. This will erase all wireless network setup, and you must re-configure the network. Anyone who is currently connected to the network will be disconnected.
Router reset button is usually located at the back of the router, near the port
(port). You may need to use a paper clip to press the button.

2. Press and hold the reset button. Press and hold the reset button on the router for at least 30 seconds. This will ensure that the router actually been reset. The lights in the router will light up to indicate that the router has been reset.

3. Reconfigure your network. Once the router is reset, you can sign in using the login information by default and re-configure your wireless network. If you can not find your
login information by default, you can search online model. Most routers have a default information that is printed on a sticker affixed to the router.

•Open the Wireless section of the router configuration page to set up your wireless network. Unless there is a specific reason, you should always choose WPA2 as the encryption method.

•Create a strong password that contains letters, numbers, and symbols. Make sure that the password is not based on any personal information.

•When you configure the router, change your login information. It normally resides in the Advanced menu on the Administration.
