Honey has been used as an antibiotic proven in different cultures around the world for thousands of years, including the period of the First World War. Doctors and other health experts have also begun to recognize, little recently, the benefits of honey for its healing properties and other virtues. Honey not only serves to kill bacteria, but also helps keep hydrated wounds and acts as a protective barrier. In addition, honey reduces inflammation and promotes healing of wounds and the disappearance of other conditions of the skin. always mindful of locally produced honey house or any store, you can use it as a topical antibiotic to treat wounds and certain skin diseases like acne.

STEP ONE: Apply honey on wounds

1. Always keep proper hand honey. Although you can use any type of honey to treat wounds, there are certain varieties, such as manuka honey, which are likely to be more effective as a topical antibiotic than others. It is advisable to always have a supply of honey at home to use as an antibiotic when you need it.

•Note that locally produced honey is usually the most effective in killing bacteria. You can also get medical-grade honey. You will find these products in any store healthy eating in local markets and even some supermarkets.

•Be careful when you buy commercial honey because it may not be effective in killing bacteria and heal wounds because of its content of additives and sometimes unknown origin. Read the label and make sure the commercial honey is pure and pasteurized.

2. Clean the wound. You will have to clean the wound and remove any surface dirt before applying honey. In this way, you will eliminate the greatest possible number of bacteria and will reduce the risk of infection.

• Wash the wound carefully with plenty of warm water and soap. You do not need any special product for washing. All soaps are equally effective at removing bacteria.
Rinse the wound until you see any other soap, surface dirt or particles.

•Dry the wound completely with a clean towel, a cloth or a piece of absorbent paper.
Do not try to remove debris embedded deeper, as you may spread surface bacteria and increase the risk of infection. What you do is go to the doctor to clean this type of deeper dirt.

Cover the wound with a thin layer of honey using a clean finger, a cotton swab or a clean cloth. If you want, you can measure between 15 and 30 ml of honey and pour it directly on the wound. 5. Repeat the process. In most cases, you must reapply honey on the wound every time you spend 12 to 48 hours, depending on its severity and speed healing. STEP TWO: Treat other diseases with honey

1. Soothes burns with honey. If you have a burn of any kind, either due to an accident, sunburn or surgical burn, honey not only will serve to calm her, but also help speed up the healing process. Treats fungal infections. Honey can also be effective in eliminating fungal skin infections. You can apply honey directly to the affected area or cover previously infected with a dressing soaked in honey skin. Try honey dealing with any of the following fungal infections:

•athlete's foot
•seborrheic dermatitis

5. Reduces the formation of dandruff. There is also evidence that honey can help reduce the formation of dandruff and its chronic equivalent, seborrheic dermatitis.
Consider apply yourself honey on production areas dander regularly and prevents recurrence.

•Prepare a solution with 90% honey and 10% water and then rubbing gently spread it on the areas affected by dandruff for two or three minutes. Let the mixture sit for three hours and then rinse with warm water.
