A man got the shock of his life after stealing chicken from one of his neighbours.

When a thief identified as Mike Wanjala, had eaten chicken and eggs which he stole from one of his neighbours, he never envisaged the troubles that would come out of it.

According to reports, Wanjala who is from the Khasolo village in Bungoma County, Kenya, complained about pains in his stomach after eating his loot, and ended up being rushed to a native doctor when sounds of a crowing cock was reportedly being heard from his stomach.

Wanjala who confessed to stealing a total of eight chickens and some money from the said neighbour, said the pain in his stomach started three days after the robbery. He said: “I started having stomach pains and hearing sounds of a cock crowing coming out of my stomach, I was rushed to the witchdoctor for treatment.”

Wanjala’s father, Justus Kuloba admitted that his son stole the items, while his mother expressed her joy after the native doctor successfully treated their son, even though they spent money trying to save his life.
Wanjala was allowed to go after the villagers warned him to stop stealing, and the native doctor identified as Mama Noor, insisted on giving his family a charm to protect their home.
