This might sound funny to some of us. . !  I am really afraid, I wonder what will happen if we treat our bibles the same way we treat our cellphones. I was on my ways to church one Sunday morning with my friend and she said to me “oops, please wait a minute, I forgot my phone, let me get it” Moments later, we were halfway to church; I looked at my friend and asked “Where his bible was” “oh my I forgot it” was her quick reply. “I will share yours with you.” I looked at her and said nothing, she couldn’t use my phone with me but she could use my bible with me. That morning as if the pastor heard our conversation, he said before the sermon. “Brethren, please switch off your phone and stay connected with God. I want you to wonder for a moment what would happen if we treat our bibles the same way we treat our cell phones.” What if we carried it around in our pockets and purses? What if we flipped through it several times a day? What if we treated it like we couldn’t live without it? What if we turned to get it if we forgot it? My friend looked at me and I looked back at her. .Were are your priorities. . . . . . . .Hmmmmmn. . . .Where is your bible?  |

well i av bible applications and concordances on my fone even if i forgot mi bible i tell yah my fone will serve buh i cant forget it! |

What if we carried it around in our pockets and purses? what if like my cellphone, I dumped my old Bible and got a new one that meets modern standards (like not stoning adulterous women and homos to death and all)? The bible doesn't seem to have any upgrades like a cellphone does. |
