Anything can happen in this time of ‘change’. It sounded like a joke when rapper Kanye West declared that he wants to run for the office of US president in 2020 last year. Another famous celebrity, ‘Commando’ actor Arnold Schwarzenegger served two terms as the 38th Governor of California from 2003 until 2011. We’ve seen Nollywood stars like Desmond Ellioit, Bob Manuel, Nkiru Silvanus and Hilda Dakubo hold political offices in the country. So why shouldn’t any of 2face, Wizkid, or D’banj run for president in the foreseeable future?
