When the Vice Chancellor Prof. ‘Lanre Fagbohun assumed office on Monday, 11th January, 2016, the passion to turn the fortunes of the University around positively, was clearly and boldly written all over him.

The pragmatic progressive Vice Chancellor’s style of Administration has proved to be the secret of winning more Friends for the University. Aside, building and improving on the existing relationship with the Media, Friends, well-meaning Nigerians and all stakeholders, he has equally attracted the attention of the National Youth Service Corps [NYSC].

Friday, 30th September, 2016, was another great moment as the prestigious Lagos State University became the cynosure of all eyes as Corps members from the 37-States of the Federation including the FCT, Abuja, [those from Ọjọ́ , Apapa and Three [3] other LCDAs] assembled in the University’s Magnificent Auditorium for one of their general Community Development Service, CDS and other critical presentations: Skills Acquisition.
