It's art and her body has been used as a canvas. In most cases, art intends to be provocative but this one isn't even........why are Africans now always so offended when they see nudity? It used to be the way we did things - privates swinging in the wind, while we went about our business. Well, mission accomplished - people are talking about it.

As for what it means? Art is subjective. People have used nudity to represent honesty (bared to the basic) for instance, cutting all the bullshit. Clothes make the person, so they say, - dressed in nothing but our colors, maybe this is a statement saying "at the core, I am Nigerian". The choice of using a woman's body over a man's could have been subconsciously following the popular trend, or because a man's nudity is so easily overlooked that the message would have been lost. Or, it could have been deliberately stating that women too can bleed green and white and should not be overlooked. It's Art, it means what you make of it.

you guys say bad about the painting because she is not Kim Kardashan or Beyonce... Its her life leave her to live it... Those condemning her are you faithful?

Seriously*, I support those who want to be nude in public, or to express their art, to go nude. The rest of us should just try to ignore instead of getting all hot and bothered, which is what attention seekers want. When they're tired of their mumurism, calmness will return. Fashion trends go in cycles from ultra-expressive to ultra-conservative. Their clothing, or lack of it, does not put fuel in my generator or food in my fridge, so it matters not to me.
