Christians are meant to PROVE ALL THING (e.g. inspirations) and hold fast that which is true (1 Thes. 5:21) The apostles of old that God used to download the inspirations that later became the bible would summarize the above comments by the music experts as having a source that is contrary to FLESH & BLOOD.

Quite a no. of folks would just gloss over such subject, but permit me to pay homage to an understanding about such influences.

Because of the origin of hip-hop and what it represented in its earlier stages, Christians cannot embrace it on its facial value. The source of its culture cannot lend itself to the direction of the Holy Spirit (Jn. 3:31). Yes, we do have very powerful Christian rap groups that preach the word of God through rap, but we must not get confused and call what they are doing as hip-hop. We have to understand that God does not embrace anything that has a corrupt origin. The very word "hip-hop" was used by Afrikka Bambatta, one of the pioneers of the culture and professed Zulu Nation god, to describe the parties that he was hosting in clubs across New York in the early 70s. Since then, it has been developed into a religion that rests upon the “hip-hop culture”. The culture is not from God.

If we look out into the world, we'll see that hip-hop has literally taking over all cultures in America and beyond. It’s the spirit of the age (1 Cor. 2:12) meant to make people dull spiritually (2 Cor 4:4/Jn. 28:17/Heb. 5:11).

Such songs glorifies everything that is after the likeness of Christ, and when we listen to, nod our heads or dance to this music, we are allowing ourselves/our children to be corrupted by such music. The spirit of hip-hop has a mission to deceive and take control of the minds of our people, thus giving Satan complete control of our generation (our youths). It has been scientifically proven that your mind is so clever that, even when you aren't trying to, you can receive the information that is stated in the lyrics of music, and even if it is recorded backward, it affects you. These things later come out of its recipients in the heat of the moment because they are PROGRAMMED IN THE MIND AND MAKES ITS SUBJECT SEDUCED, WILD OR CHARGED IN VARIOUS CASES.

If you go into the archives of Satan, you’ll agree his name was Lucifer (Isa. 14:12). He had one job and an ability which was built into his spiritual being and it was to make music. He was the “sun of the morning - meaning the first sound of the morning” and the one who ushered in the very presence of God (Eze. 28:12-17).

Here's what people might have missed. When God kicked Satan out of heaven, He never took away his ability. So now, the devil deceives & phenomenally influences the world with music.

We need to Understand that music is a direct link to a man's heart! Music is not confined to the boundaries of interpretation. That is the reason why it's the universal language because you can take two different people who speak two different languages, put them together, play music and they'll have something in common. IT IS THE ONLY THING THAT CAN GET INTO THE MIND OF A MAN AND DISTURB HIS VERY CONSCIENCE WITHOUT SUCH A PERSON’S CONSENT! It can teach you stuff you don't want to learn. It has the power not to ask you whether or not you accept it, but it will just go in anyway. HALF OF US WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO SAY OUR “ABC’S” IF IT WASN’T PUT IN A SONG FORMAT!

Advertisers pay millions of dollars for 15 seconds of an advert because they know something that many of us don’t. They Know That It Takes 15 To 30 Seconds To Influence The Mind Of A Human To Do Something That It Had No Intention Of Doing. So, if they play their jingle within that time frame, it's locked in you. Music has power. Remember that the devil wasn't kicked out of heaven alone, he influenced other angels as well…how…Just think of…. How can someone influence "heavenly" beings to sin? THE ANSWER WAS MUSIC! God therefore left us with a counsel through Apostle Mark in 4:24 “….AND HE SAID UNTO THEM, TAKE HEED WHAT YE HEAR…”

True music (worship) takes place in Spirit & truth only and should be devoted to God alone, exalting His person and his Coming Kingdom.

May God empower us to close our hearts to songs that shuts out the presence of the Holy Spirit.

God only recognizes one Star and that’s the bright & morning star, Christ Jesus.
