Veteran Nollywood actor, Festus Aguebor has been reported dead.

His death is coming on the heels of the demise of another actor, Michael Odiachi who died days ago.

Aguebor’s death was announced by top filmmaker, Fidelis Duker on his Facebook account yesterday.

He wrote, ‘Adieu talented and veteran Actor Fesyud Aguebor …..remember your brilliant delivery of Chief Odeku in my 2002 movie, Family Contract starring Desmond Elliot, Chioma Akpotha, Steph-Nora Okere, Afolabi Bolasodun Makinde, Grace Evaly, amongst others …. May your soul rest in peace. Amen'

It's just a reflection of the poor healthcare system in the country. Why do you think some people fly abroad to treat even the slightest of ailments?

Most government hospitals have been turned into personal business centers for doctors. . . they will never perform X-Ray and basic tests in most General Hospitals/ Federal Hospitals. . . they have all negotiated with the so-called external labs like Mecure etc so they can get bonuses on referral and they don't give a damn if the patient dies in the process. They have forgotten that Medicine is all about showing care. . . Nigerian doctors believe that since they spent 7 years studying the course, they should be the ones enjoying everything in life.

Shameless doctors, they can't treat anything beyond typhoid fever. . .
