I agree with you; few pastors not to talk of their congregation read, study or preach from Revelation for the following reasons
1. The Book is for the wise: it is full of codes and symbols to be decoded. In fact the full code cannot bebunraveled until the last of the prophecies begin to unfold.
2. The average Christian and their Pastors are Carnal (worldly). All their treasures are in this world and not in heaven..
3. Lact of Expectation of His return: we are busy
planning for the next 100years forgetting that Jesus says suddenly like a birth pang....

However, don't over stretch your interpretation of the colours but it is good you are studying...
