Most of our movies seem foreign, and how we speak do not portray who we are as a people as we are trying so hard to be like the world's biggest film industry, that doesn't mean we should lose our identity because of it. We can still tell Nigerian stories and be a world class without trying to copycat Hollywood, we might not need buildings collapsing or an alien invading Lagos to tell a good story. Let us identify the beauty in the everyday Nigerian life and pitch it into something amazing and the skies will be the start off for Nollywood. Knowing that movies play an important role in the lives of individuals, moral values should be preached, our language and culture as well for movies shape the minds of our generation.
