There was a bit of scare to prospective corp members who checked the portal yesterday but couldn't find their names anymore after they had seen it few days ago. Different rumours sprang up suggesting that NYSC wanted to cancel the program. That is false. The NYSC management has clearly stated the reason for the incidence! Read below:-

1.This is to inform all part-time graduates from Nigeria Corps Producing Institutions that their Institutions have uploaded their names on the NYSC Portal. They are to visit www.nysc.org.ng effectivee from Monday 17th October, 2016 to register and print their Exclusion Letters.

2. All 2016 Batch B Prospective Corps Members who had earlier seen their names on the NYSC Portal, but can no longer see it, should not panic, it means their schools are still uploading because of approval given to them to upload additional records. Once the upload is completed, you will be able to check your names on the NYSC portal.

3. In addition, Prospective corps Members are to note that passport photograph size requirement to be uploaded during the on-line registration must be 2x2 with off-white background colour. Note that if the background does not conform to the standard, you will not be able to complete your on-line registration.

After graduating 2015, u didnt make batch A, your sch or nysc couldnt giv u a gud reason y, u sat home patiently waiting 4 batch B nw u hear dem saying there is a 60% chance that u wont still make batch B..
With d depression, sadness etc u kept checking the senate nd no record was found...

No, went to school to complain but was told I will have to wait for next batch.

For those who are yet to see their names on Senate verification list, pls don't stick to your phones only because phones might disappoint, I advice you visit confirm café to check. Best of luck.
