POST - UME ADMISSIONS EXERCISE

PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATES ARE TO NOTE THE FOLLOWING

A.      FIRST AND SECOND CHOICE ADMISSION - INTERACTIVE SESSION

1.     Following the submission of results by candidates who made the University of Ibadan their First and/or Second Choice, the shortlisted candidates are requested to present themselves for verification and interactive session at the University of Ibadan on Thursday 29 October, 2009. THE LIST OF INVITED CANDIDATES WILL BE DISPLAYED on the U.I website as from Saturday 24 October, 2009. Individual e-mail and/or gsm. sms will be dispatched to all shortlisted candidates.

2.     Candidates should report at the Lecture Theatre of their prospective Faculties for the exercise at 8.30 am prompt with the following documents.

(a)         Original and photocopies of JAMB Notification of Result.

(b)        Original and photocopies of WAEC/NECO/SSCE certificates.

    * For (b) above, Candidates should note that online statements of results obtained before Nov/Dec 2007 are not acceptable for this exercise.

(c)         Original and photocopies of Birth certificate/sworn declaration of age.

(d)        Bank print out for the purchase of PIN

(e)         Two recent passport size photographs - showing frontal face view. Size should be 5.2cm x 5.2cm.

3.  The date for the verification/interactive session WILL NOT be extended. Therefore, a candidate who fails to show up at the stipulated time and date is deemed to have forfeited his/her chances of being considered for admission.

B.                CHANGE OF COURSE AND PURCHASE OF PIN

All prospective students who chose the University of Ibadan as their First and/or Second choice institution are eligible to apply on-line for Change of Course, provided they have not been interviewed on Thursday 29 October 2009, using the PINs purchased earlier. They may apply online (http://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng) for change of course into the available academic programmes (To be advertised) between Monday 2 and Thursday 12November, 2009.

Candidates who were unable to purchase the processing PIN from Banks before the earlier deadlines can buy the PIN between Monday 2 and Thursday 12November, 2009 from the designated banks and apply on-line (http://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng) for a change of course into the available academic programmes (To be advertised).

Misrepresentation of documents is a serious offence. Candidates are therefore advised to submit genuine documents only. Anyone found guilty of this offence will automatically be disqualified and handed over to the Law Enforcement Agents.

Do u mean ibadan is not collecting waec results later than nov/dec 2007.vry strict admission processing

Please does this mean that if u do not have ur result before or by 2007 u are not qualified or what pls some one enlighten me

What the statement means is that you suppose to have get your original certificate from either waec or neco office and not that you cannot use any result before 2007.

You are required to use your certificate and online printed statement cos your certy is ready.
