The Lagos state emergency management agency received a distress call at about 12.45am on 16/10 /2016 regarding a fire incident of a Story building Shopping Complex opposite Presbyterian Church Yaba.

My condolences.

I sympathize with those that lost their goods,in the raging inferno.

Two things stood out for me after seeing this.

A- Do we have comprehensive business insurance in Nigeria?an insurance that will cover upstart business just in case if there are loss, occasioned by fire or any natural disasters,or even if the business is looted?so that the owner of the business can get his/her money back.

For those without insurance coverage on both Their lives, properties and business,I will advice they seek a reputable insurance company for one.

B- The Lagos State Fire Fighting outfit and Medical Emergency outfit,is really impressing me. I have been seeing pictures of their prompt response to emergency matters in Lagos, and I am impressed.

Other States should emulate this.

In this era of recession, I can not fathom why such calamity chooses to befall the already struggling mostly women entrepreneurs.
I just hope this does not tip those affected into depression and high blood pressure!

The balance and inbalance of security and speed is called to fore here.

You want security but it will reduce speed of doing anything

too bad
That's because of inadequate man power and resource. The agency needs to employ more hand and be pro active.

Apostle Johnson Suleman gave a prophecy about this fire outbreak in Lagos market just a month ago, which would be a secret intention of some wicked people but when a prophet speaks instead of people to pray to avert it they condemn the prophet.
It could have been more than this but God took control
May God increased and establish those affected
