Millions of people worldwide suffer from hunger and under-nutrition. These conditions exists when people lack sustainable physical or economic access to enough safe, nutritious, and socially acceptable food for a healthy and productive life. The study found that the root causes of these include: poverty, ignorance, lack of food storage or processing facilities, lack of modern farm machines / techniques, lack of information, poor financial support and national policies that do not promote even access to food for all.
