A plane carrying the Fenerbahce first-team squad including Emmanuel Emenike to Manchester has been diverted after a bird flew into the cockpit window.

The Turkish giants are scheduled to face Manchester United in the Europa League on Thursday night but they will now arrive in England later than planned.

After being forced to make an emergency landing in Budapest, the club posted four images of the cracked cockpit window.
