-Assist in setting tables, laying out appropriate glassware and utensils.
-Maintain inventory of linens, coffee and glassware of service areas.
-Administer appropriate distribution of guests and respond to all inquiries.
-Assist all guests and provide daily specials list to all.
-Prepare menus and maintain knowledge on various menu items and cooking method.
-Maintain details of all drinks available on lost and ensure alcohol service to appropriate age.
-Assist to prepare appetizers, salads and dessert portioning.
-Monitor dishes and ensure aesthetic garnishing.
-Assist customers to describe appropriate wine and provide appropriate selection.
-Perform service of all beverages and food items according to etiquette.
-Ensure optimal levels of customer services for all meals and beverages.
-Prepare bill of all food and beverage items along with appropriate sales taxes.
-Recruit and train wait staff for efficient existing practices.
-Analyze customer requirement for test and prepare hot and cold drinks as required.
-Monitor food orders and update records on computers.
SKILLS:
-Must have the ability to read customers body language to determine if they are ready to order.
-Being a good listener will also help.
-The knowledge about the items on the menu of the restaurant is a must.
-Should also be upbeat and personable along with a pleasing personality for they are an image of what they serve.
