Everywhere you go, you read about people trying to lose weight. But they are people like me out there that have been trying effortless to gain some weight for years. You hardly see articles speaking on this, and when you do, it is written by an American, and they are naming food you can't get here in Nigeria. So, I have decided to come on Nairaland and see if I can get help. I want to gain some weight in the next couple of months, and I need to know what to eat, and maybe exercises to do to achieve this.


I am 6ft2, and weigh 64 KG...Sometimes when I work a lot into the night for days, my weight drops down to 61kg. You know that ain't a good look for a tall guy. I a looking at weighing at least 75kg in the next couple of months. Help me achieve this. Thanks in advance.

Op be aware dt cypri gold will make u sleep too much so if you are working class guy it will be better for you to take it during weekend bcoz it will weaken u too.

thats good, but eat heavily as this will make u sleep well. dnt forget to do press up if u dnt have whr to gym. eat very well . goodluck.

I thought I should put daily updates here so I don't forget anything. Someone might learn from it in the future. I intend to take one pill of Cypri Gold capsules every 2 days for the next 14 days. So far, these are the changes I have noticed after taking the drug 24 hours ago.


#I feel sleepy all the time, and I am tired a lot. I slept from 1:30 to 5:30 yesterday afternoon. I can't remember the last time I slept that long in the afternoon.

#As much as people said it would make me eat a lot, I haven't noticed that yet. Yea, it increased my appetite a little, but not as much as I expected.

#I slept very early yesterday around 9pm (early for me).

#I have crazy dreams every time I sleep.

#I am tired most of the time. Yea, I know I have said that before, but I had to say it again for people to really understand how tired you would get if you take this drug. Good thing I work for myself, and I already planned out the next 14 days.

#I get mood swings. I feel sad a lot of the time. Sad for no reason.

Am not an advocate of pills to avoid addiction and concentrating its contents in ur system.
Check the work you do. it is probably the number one contributor.adjust your time to allow 1hr siesta for two weeks, Drink enough water, make sure u dont miss your break fast and eat shouldnt be later than 9am. exercise ur body atleast twice in a week for 30mins. Dont miss ur nyt sleep also. latest 10pm and it good healthy foods rich in carbohydrate,protein and vitamins.

At the rate you're going you'd eventually add weight. Since pill-taking is the easier traveled road there's no need to throw workout and eating advice.
One thing no one has mentioned though is what the drug does. With the increased appetite I'd throw a guess to say it's a multivitamin pill.

A good thing you work for yourself else I would have said flee from those drugs. The singular reason I've avoided taking any of such appetite stimulants due to what you just described up there. Maybe if I can spare ten days like you too that I won't be needing, I'll risk it too

I found the same success using multivitamins and a regimen of weight lifting. After a constant four month habit of consuming a multi pill a day it completely stopped working in aiding my appetite. By the time I had achieved considerable body mass and a larger nutrient intake ability.
Would've given this pill a go if I hadn't already gotten my desired weight -- hmm, maybe sometime in the future if workplace stress diminishes my appetite.

You better stop before getting depressed. It makes you sad for no reason. Jeez that doesn't sound good. You can be adding more omega 3 fats into ur food. Like olive oil, avocados etc. That's a healthy way to gain weight

I stopped on the 4th day or so as I was always feeling sick after using the drug and sleeping too much. I threw the drugs out, and never used it again.
