I think it's intentional. These guys don't really care.. They've got the fame , money etc

It's in this part of the world we lay too much emphasis on dressing and appearance.

That's right, Western clothes, are rags compared to indigenous African clothing. No matter what culture, Yoruba, Benin, Hausa, Akan, Kongo, etc, African clothing is more colorful, cooler to wear, and are more dignified. Now the only way to forward is to start greater cotton industry and lower the price of African clothing so no matter how cheap this ugly Western clothing is it still cheaper and better to buy African clothing.
