I read your write up but it did not give any advice on what to do, like why we should never fit any tyre with traction B, why we should not buy a Q rated tyre, why passenger cars should not use C tyres meant for buses, why we should not believe the expertise of a vulcaniser who will put 50psi instead of 32 psi in a tyre or a tyre dealer who will tell you T rated speed tyres will work well on a Mercedes G class. We need to move ahead and prevent these dealers from bringing substandard tyres into the country. We need to let CPC to protect the motorists, because we buy what we see in the market and we feel that the government agencies overseeing the sector will not allow such tyres into the country. We need to go against Milan tyres, Bridgestone, Infinity, Continental, Michelin and all those round about tyres who make Nigeria a dumping site for their tyres and we keep wondering if SON has been disbanded.
