Why would they censor names like God/Chineke/Chukwu/Jesus in African magic Igbo/urban/epic while those in African magic yoruba and hausa can use allah/prophet mohammed without being censored. I think that is pure discrimination.

Its not only in christian igbo but also in yoruba magic as well... They censor the jesus, God etc
Only God knows why they do that! But i dont see dem censoring allah or muslim words.

Bros its been on for awhile now... Over a year i think. I think its not to offend some group of people/elites (rich folks) who dont like to hear the name of God mentioned on air!

Let me quote myself before I expand on the reason why

No. Nothing to it. Political correctness; you can't force God down everyone's throat.

The truth is the service is broadcast to a multi-religious audience. DStv does not want people (Africans with their myopic thought processes) to assume they favour one religion over others so majority of religious words are censored. Don't forget some curse words are preceded by Christian words e.g. "Goddamn you". Better safe than sorry.
Even if they didn't censor the words to begin with, knowing the way Africans reason, it's highly possible they would receive multitudes of complaints from practitioners of other religions.
