Road infrastructure in a country are an essential element in its development. When traveling in the European or American countries, the first observation is the state of their roads that makes beautiful images.

In West Africa, the roads are completely impassable. It is crazy that after so many years of independence, the countries don't have highways that connect all regions.

Here are photos on what commuters are going through on the roads in Guinea and Cameroon.

So when next you’re traveling to these countries, know it’s not going to be a complete pleasure trip.

Haha, this terrible roads reminds me of what the late Prof Ali Mazrui said.

"The big powers have gone to the moon and beyond but the African is still trying to get to the village"

it's very unfortunate.

There are budgetary allocations for these roads, but the wickedness of the African elite class will always prevail, squandering the money while their people suffer

Wao! D bitter truth is that they have the materials for road construction in abundance(asphalt, limestone, bitumen) but they are praying that God bring it out and construct their road.
