Your first error is that you did not remember that "Psychology" means the study of the spirit man called "soul"

Hence your opening statement "Psychologically Religion is a... " tautologous and almost comic.

You are totally wrong with this short definition and no according to, to certain your back up definition.
There are many ways in which one can assert definition since there are many scholars in different fields. My definition is psychologically, know this that psychology deals with human character and that remains a field of science that basically deals with human behavior.
