An alleged bribery scandal in which Super Eagles player , Odion Ighalo has been fingered in may see the Nigerian striker serve a two -year jail term .
Ighalo , alongside some others have been accused of bribing their way to pass a driving test while he was at Granada in the Spanish league .
According to provincial district attorney ’s office , Ighalo and the other accused persons hired someone to write the tests on their behalf in 2012 and 2013 .
Investigation further revealed that three syndicates of Íllora (Granada) , Mengíbar ( Jaén ) and Ciudad Real who moved to Granada allegedly recruited students to help write exams for clients who wanted to pass the driving license exams , and were charged between 1 ,500 and 2 ,500 Euros .
Ighalo may have to appear in court if a trial is to be held and also risks a 2 -year jail term and 3000 euros fine.
