– The Nigerian police have arrested a 60-year-old man for allegedly duping a woman of N1.99million
– The man is also a specialist in producing fake currencies
– His partners are said to be at large
The Lagos state police command has apprehended one Hyacinth Nwogu for duping a woman and producing fake currencies.

Nwogu, 60, who lives at 7, Abimbola street, College road, Ifako Ijaiye in Lagos was apprehended after the victim, Helen Olajide, 28, filed a complaint against him at the station.
The suspect was alleged to have collected the cash in installments from the victim, a businesswoman, under the guise of supplying her goods.
But Nwogu dismissed Olajide’s claims, saying she was duped of a million naira and it was shared among the four culprits, three of which are still at large.

The police spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, said he the suspect will be charged to court at the conclusion of investigation, adding that efforts were on to arrest the fleeing suspects.
Recently, the Lagos state police’s Rapid Respond Squad (RRS) section announced the arrest of a 28-year-old man who defrauded victims of around N2million on the pretence of procuring for them Dubai visas.
The man, Emu-Larry Chidebere, who hails from Ika North local government area of Delta state, is accused of defrauding one Abraham Jude and four other persons of N2million under the pretence of helping them to procure visas.
