Popular movie actress Kerry Washington known for her role in the television show Scandals has spoken out for the first time since giving birth to her second child with her husband, former NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha.

According to E! News, the two welcomed son Caleb Kelechi Asomugha, on Oct. 5, Their new baby boy now has an older sister, 2-year-old Isabelle. Kerry got married to her hubby a former American football cornerback born to Nigerian Igbo parents on June 24, 2013. The couple welcomed their first daughter Isabelle Amarachi on April 21, 2014.

Washington, took to her Twitter account on Saturday to thank her fans for their positive messages about her delivery as well as reflect on the loss of Deborah Danner, a 66-year-old woman with schizophrenia who was killed by a New York City police sergeant Tuesday.
