AMERICAN sportswear giant Nike has released a high-visibility football for top European Leagues. It confirmed that the new Ordem 4 will be used in three of Europe’s top leagues – Spain’s La Liga, the Italian Serie A and the Premier League this season. Nike have provided the Premier League with balls since 2000 The ball is said to solve the issue of reduced daylight during the winter seasons. For 3pm kick-offs floodlights have to be turned on towards the end of games as darkness creeps in.
