how does sharing info here fasten or make ptdf conduct induction for LSS?... no one created a WhatsApp group for selfish interest and perhaps the link was made public here, it was created to ease communication esp for those who maybe to busy to enter nland, easy to read a pop message on WhatsApp.... what info do you need here or u just want to rob it on faces of those who were not awarded?

what's being selfish in creating a WhatsApp group made public here, what info do u need aside date for induction not as if the date will help aspiring participants.... if you want to rant, do that to the OSS as well and stop putting your frustration on LSS for creating a WhatsApp group. Lols... Whatsapp group with no purpose, vision and direction.. .only jonzing set of myopic people making jokes and posting gbam gbam(alert daily)..even news papers .... I really don't understand how these people reason?.. Anyways we need to have our award letters... It's the only pass for sponsorship... Some schools have done their entrance exams and interview.. .but some are too selfish since its not their turn or hasn't affected them yet....

Lol it does not matter. OSS got their names out before forming a group. BTW there is nothing humble about secluding yourself from the rest of the community you benefited from. Anyway do as you like it does not matter.

I equally received mail on admission status confirmation as LSS Scholar. But I feel PTDF is unconcerned about us maybe for now in my own estimation. For instance, after about 3 or 4 weeks nothing was coming forth, I decided to do them a mail through their website, and since then, nothing was heard from them.
I will suggest that we write them provided there is any sure means we can do that. They can not continue to keep us in the dark. We need to know what is happening. I feel there should be some level of certainty. We should not forget that the admission status confirmation mail states that the mail was sent to only successful shortlisted scholars.

I am also a lss scholar who have been chilling too. I had to ask if the first mail means success. He said yes and added oss induction was rushed due to pressure from quarters (induction ends eye poking from powers that be).

What is the meaning of this split PhD?

The real question is, how do we make PTDF hear our voices? Everyone knows that the tuition is not coming for another 6months but at least if one has an award letter, you'd know exactly what you're doing, if you're raising money or anything, how do the PTDF board know that time is of the essence?

So if not for pressure from presumably "high" quarters, OSS scholars would still be in Nigeria, and probably since there's apparently no pressure, remembering LSS is till God knows when.. ..

I will urge all of us to be a bit patient. Most Nigerian schools for lss master have not started classes. So we should chill
