You can choose medicine in jamb, who knows you might be admitted to main campus through jamb.

PRESENTS=: Direct entry into 200 level......
IJMB means Interim Joint Matriculation Board, while IJMBE is the "Examniation" itself. IJMB is an Advanced-Level (A-Level) Course, which you take for 9 months, after which you take a final exam that gives you a certificate. This certificate can then be used to apply for 200 Level Admission into almost all Nigeria University.

IJMB allows you to choose three courses/subjects that are related to what you want to study in the university of your choice. The highest point for each course is five(5) points, which is denoted by A. That is, all the three courses will have fifteen (15) points in total, with addictional one (1) if you did not have F(fail) any of the courses/subject which stands for 0 point. This gives a total of 16(sixteen) points all together.

Point Being Given In IJMB.
A = 5 points
B = 4 points
C = 3 points
D = 2 points
E = 1 points
F = 0 points
For you to be considered to have passed IJMB exam you must have scored a minimum of 5 points in total i.e EDE stands for (1+2+1) which is five (5) points.

Reasons why IJMB Is Better Than Other Programs.
Before JAMB/UTME came into existence, IJMB was the only tool used to gain admission many people can confirm. The same problem facing other sectors in Nigeria have huge effect on Nigeria education sector, hence, there are only few people who know about IJMB this days.
Advantages IJMB Has Over JAMB And Other Programs
1. The result takes a whopping 5 years to expire unlike JAMB that is valid for only a year.
2. You can use it over and over again
3. You can still be doing it and apply for JAMB if you want to kill two birds with one stone
4. You will have higher CGPA in your university as is going to be divided by 3years not four years not four years like others who used JAMB.
5. You have more advantages of being admitted unlike those that used JAMB since IJMB students are very fewer in ratio.
6. What you will be thought subsequestly in the university will become very simple because you must have done the bulk of the job in IJMB
7. Most IJMB students graduate with better results as compared to UTME/JAMB students.
