Sports reporting is traditionally a man field but in recent years, women have taken up the mantle and ‘My oh My’ they are doing a great job. It is also a great attraction to many fans who would otherwise not enjoy the news if their favourite teams were not in action.

So today, we want to appreciate the work these beautiful ladies are doing in the World of Sports;

8. Alex Curry



Los Angeles Sports lovers must be lucky to have Alex Curry behind the Sports desk every evening because she is not only good at her job but also very beautiful. She is currently hosting a number of shows namely Angels Weekly and Kings Live on Fox Sports West and Tailgate 4 on the Big Ten Network.

7. Ines Sainz


If there is a woman in Sports reporting who has revolutionized the way matches are presented, then it has to be Ines Sainz. She has done it all in the game and at the age of 37; she is certainly at her peak. She is well known for her Spanish language shows Dxtips and Aztec Deportes.

6. Cari Champion


Cari Champion became the very first African American to host ESPN show Sports Centre. She has worked in the media house on different shows but this was a big call and we can all agree she has delivered.

5. Heidi Watney



Heidi Watney gained her fame back in the day when she reported extensively on Red Sox for New England Sports Network. She has attracted all sorts of controversy but she has remained true to her course. She had a short stint at Time Warner Cable Sportsnet but today she is doing her job at MLB Network.

4. Renee Young


Renee Young is sports reporter on the big league, a league of her own called WWE. Many might want to call her an entertainer but she does her job well. She mingles with those strong men we see in the ring all the time. She also interviews all of them on Monday Night Raw.
