The Nes Classic Edition Review by bulletproofmonk(m): 11:22am On Nov 04, 2016
Earlier this year, Nintendo announced they were going to release a classic edition of the 90s favourite. This time, the 8-bit classic will be in a miniature version with 30 of the most popular games pre-loaded. Popular games such as the Super Mario series, Mega-Man, Ninja Gaiden etc. were headlined. The graphics have been stepped up with modern day advancements, compared to the original Nintendo visual quality.

IGN’s Jose Otero has conducted a thorough review, highlights of which are detailed below:

The controller cables are short (2.5 feet)
An HDMI port and USB power input has been introduced
The D-pad feels smoother and lighter than the uncomfortably hard original one Nintendo used
You have different viewing options – crystal 4:3 mode, fuzzy CRT mode and pixel-perfect mode
You are limited to just the 30 classic games pre-loaded

VERDICT: The selection of these beautifully emulated games at $59.99 makes a strong case to BUY!
