There are microbes in the environment, and they tend to predispose us to sickness and diseases. You need to fight off these bacteria which are pathogenic in nature. You need to make the food you consume work as an immune booster by taking natural home food components. There are antibacterial drugs, soaps and washes which help to fight diseases but the components within food consumed are natural and very effective.
