An exquisite recreational park in Abuja is seeking Public Relations personnel to nurture a strong customer network for the brand, increase awareness and develop an enviable brand image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs.

Responsibilities
• Develop & execute marketing communications strategy and plan
• Develop media relations strategy and coordinate placements in print, broadcast and online media
• Coordinate all public relations activities
• Engage audiences across traditional and social media
• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
• Create content for social media and press releases
• Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a monthly basis
• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
• Build relevant relationships to grow industry awareness
• Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends and seasons affecting customer and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them

Skill / basic qualifications required
• Proven working experience in public relations required
• Proven track record executing successful public relations campaigns
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Must be creative and a good problem solver
• Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
• Event planning experience is a plus
• BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline is a plus
• Demonstrable social networking experience.
• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
• Very outgoing/extrovert , Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
• Fluency in spoken English
• BS in Communications, Marketing, Business administration , Mass Communication or Public Relations is a plus
• Must be creative and a good problem solver
• High passion for learning new things, fast learner and ability to work with minimum supervision
• Must be very proactive and a fast thinker
