I'm not trying to downgrade them cuz I'm no way better but at least use titles that will turn head, titles that will make it hard for readers to bypass ur stories

funny thing is I read some of the stories you listed because of the title, I was curious to know what happened at 3rd mainland bridge and I'm one that prefer unique titles o. So its actually working for them, you would surprised at what people like

Our friendship is like the book of lamentations.
Laide is the weeping prophet, while I am....well,me. I call her the chief whiner, for never have I encountered someone who has so much to complain about.
But I listened to her, I always listened.
Laide and I are colleagues at work and so we share a certain bond. Both of us are underpaid and overworked secretaries. We have a mutual bitter dissatisfaction for our job.
Sitting next to her right now in an overcrowded bus as we make our way back home, after a busy day at work, I am uncomfortable. I shift slightly, trying to ease my discomfort.
I need to pee badly.
The bus moves slowly in the evening traffic. I need serious distraction from my anxious bowels before the bus gets to my bus stop.
I turn to Laide and ask the magic question
" How is your husband?"
she turns to me with a hiss, "imagine...." she starts
"Poor man" I think, as I watch her small, pretty mouth move rapidly as she complains about a million things her husband has supposedly done.
Today, I am not listening.
The noise of the bus drowns most of her words.
I sit entranced, wondering how such a small mouth can bring out so many words
My crying bowels soon forgotten, I try to listen when she touches my arm to make a point. I nod, wearing an interested look on my face. Looking happy that I agree with her unknown point, her small mouth moved even faster than ever.
