1. MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

Job brief
The company is looking for a qualified Lab Technician to undertake a variety of laboratory procedures of technical nature. The successful candidate will be handling sensitive equipment to analyze samples or substances and conduct tests reporting findings to the laboratory manager.

Responsibilities
Receive, label and analyze samples (blood, toxic, tissue etc.)
Design and execute laboratory testing according standard procedures, make observations and interpret findings
Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify/reject various types of hypotheses using refined scientific methods
Organize and store all chemicals substances, fluids and compressed gases according to safety instructions

Qualification: HND/BSC in relevant area of specialization
Experience: minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Candidates trained from an institute of laboratory science will have added/higher advantage.

2. LABORATORY MARKETING EXECUTIVE

Main duties include:
Business development opportunities for the laboratory
Advise on innovative cutting edge technology of enhancing the marketability of the Laboratory
Improve on present operating procedures and standards.
Qualifications :
Minimum B.Sc Microbiology/ Biochemistry
Experience:
Minimum 2 years
Salary is attractive and competitive

Ability to prioritise tasks together with effective communication and team skills are essential.
Prompt, friendly and Hard-working team player able to work in a fast -paced environment.
Knowledge of computer applications is also required.

JOB LOCATION: Ibadan

DUTIES
The candidate will be required, but not limited to:
• Plan, organize and execute internal audit and consulting engagements to assess the adequacy of management processes and systems for risk management.
• To oversee the Audit/Internal control/Compliance and risk management standard operating procedure of the bank in assigned territories.
• Carry out regular audits, identify control lapses, improve controls and provide audit and control recommendations.
• Responsible for planning and executing risk-based audit programs providing detailed and objective review of compliance with company operational and financial policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATION
• First degree or HND in Accounting, Economics or any Social Science based discipline.
• At least four (4) years minimum experience related role in a bank, preferable in a microfinance bank.
• (ACA, ACCA, CFA or CFE) Professional qualification will be of added advantage.
