THE JESUS OF ‘66


He died for you
You,
He died for
Me,
For a country on the brink of collapse
Unmourned, unsung
Neglected and unappreciated


He died with his task, mutilated
Uncompleted
Unaccomplished

He died ,
Died, trapped in turmoil
Of secession
And dead
With all hopes shattered
When comes another Nze?
