If u want to set up a standard TV station like tvc or channels, just be ready to spend 2 billion naira but if it's substandard like ait, nta, just budget 500 million naira |

lastchild: But why on earth would you want to set up a TV station, when you can easily buy airtime on any TV station to air your shows? On satellite tv DSTV, there are Nigerian-owned stations such as Spice TV, Trybe TV, AfricaMagic channels, Trace, Channels TV, Galaxy TV etc., that you can easily contact and get them to show your programmes for a fee. The wahala of getting broadcasting equipment, facilities, infrastructure, NBC approval, broadcasting frequencies, well trained staff (both technical & commercial) etc., can be huge. |

lastchild: Because they felt they had money to splash around. Check out their stations. Nothing to differentiate them from the rest. With the exception of just a few stations, most of them are all copying one another. What is the difference between Planet TV, SoundCity, MTV Base, Trace Naija etc? The all sound alike & play musical videos back-to-back in the same way. 1 Like |
